This Lovely 19th Century Carved Oak Hall Table is in great condition with a Carved Edged Rectangular Top below a Carved Galleried back depicting a Central Heart Formed Laurel flanked by Scroll work and Flowers, below the Top there is a lovely Carved frieze, flanked by carved Knees of the four Bobbin turned Legs. To the one end there is a Beautiful Carved Drawer that runs smoothly. This Table is believed to have belonged to a Captain Hughes who used to use it to store his Charts and Maps onboard a Tea Clipper. A really nice useful Table with great Character and Charm.
