Antiques in Hereford, Tall Trees Antiques in Herefordshire,
This Fine 19th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers is in good Condition having a Rectangular Top sat above Two Small Drawers and Three Larger Graduated Drawers Below, each of Dovetailed Construction with Cock Beading and running smooth, fitted with Brass Escutcheons and Brass Ring Handles, coming to rest upon four bracket feet Interspaced by a Shaped Apron to the front. This Chest has No Top or Side Shrinkage Splits, as is all to common unfortunately in pieces of furniture of age, however there are some shrinkage splits to the Top Two Drawer bases as shown, but they remain perfectly solid and useable, and there have been a few small Professional Veneer repairs to the carcass but these do not detract from the aesthetics of the chest. Overall a good Looking Useable Chest full of Charm and Character.
