This Large Fine Quality 19th Century Camphor Wood Ships Trunk is in great condition, having a rectangular Top adorned with Brass fittings to the Four Corners and metal strapping intermittently spaced, opening to reveal a clean Interior , with a Side Stay for the Top to the Left, there is a Lock but no Key Unfortunately, the rear Hinges are very good, and a Brass Escutcheon is fitted to the front, with Metal Cladding again intermittently fitted all the way around the Trunk, at each end there is a Solid Cast Iron Handle fitted. The Base is solid! A very nice clean example making it a great talking point as a Coffee Table or similar giving great storage, etc.
