This Splendid 19th Century Oak Glazed Bookcase is in great condition having a Pair of Glazed Doors with arched top, Original Glass, handmade Twist catches, sat below a decorative Cornice, fitted with a Brass Escutcheon and working Lock to which there is a Key, opening to reveal Three Adjustable Shelves, all sat above the Base unit comprising of Two Corbels at each end below the Top, Interspaced by Two Drawers, of Dovetailed construction, running smoothly, sprung style bases requiring the drawers to be lifted up to open, following on to Two doors Below, fitted with Brass ring Pull Handles, handmade Wooden Twist Catches, opening to reveal a fixed Shelf and clean Interior, all resting upon a Plinth Base. This is a Quality made piece giving great storage. The top is separate from the Base for ease of Transportation.
