This Fabulous pair of Early 20th Century Chinese Bronze Water Buffalo with Scholars Astride are in great condition consistent of the Qing dynasty period in China, (1644 - 1912).  These are lovely pieces showing some Verdigris's. Upon the beasts are fine archaistic Dragon designs, and Characters written in Seal Script, an ancient form of Chinese writing, upon the rear Flanks. A really nice pair of collectable Bronzes.
