This Gorgeous William IV quality Rosewood Worktable is in great condition having a Rectangular Top sat above Various Mouldings, and a small Drawer of Dovetailed construction, running smoothly, fitted with a Lock to which there is a Key, opening to reveal a Writing Surface that lifts up with storage underneath, together with a later loose prop support, at one end is a secret Drawer that houses an Inkwell, Pen Tray and Nib compartments, again runs smoothly. Below is a Silk and Braided Sewing, slide out Box, running smoothly, clean interior with two small Needle compartments, all supported upon a Carved Central Column flowing into a Quatre Form Base and decorative carved Feet. A real lovely classy piece of well made furniture showcasing English Craftsmanship from the early 19th Century. An older price Ticket shown was found in the Drawer under the Writing Slope.
