The chest has Three Graduated Drawers of Dovetailed construction with Ebony Edge Detailing, sat below a Fall Front Top Drawer with good working hinges, stays and catches, revealing a leather Writing Surface, Six Pigeon Holes, Two Vertical Drawers, One Central Cupboard with Key, Three Graduated Drawers at either end and a central Letter Keep. The Four Main Drawers are fitted with Brass Escutcheons' and Lovely Oval handles and the Top Drawer has a Lock to which there is a Key.
